Howard, now back from lunch, was bent on getting Boulder into place - to the right close to the hose rack.
Before long, he and Boulder had made it to the slot of entry.
In a matter of minutes, Boulder moves into place. Rocks know where they want to go and how they want to get there.
Now, I stepped in to fine tune the placement. Inching left, right, front, back, up, down. Very carefully avoiding damage to the brick wall and keeping the other rocks from shifting.
Boulder had a nice seat albeit narrow and toward the front requiring two prop rocks under and behind. A sloped rock was placed on the back left allowing me to shimmy Boulder back and up against its shim. Boulder's face would now be in alignment with the path and neighboring rocks.
Boulder is an anchor, and its facade determines the flow of energy around that garden and through the paths on all sides.
