20 Questions #20. What was beautiful about you as a child, that you deem unimportant today?

Hands tap the keyboard, creating a patter of letters forming words. Eyes edit the page, glancing between the screen and the setting sun amidst the pines. Robins and Hummingbirds divert attention. Bedtime calls. As a child, my body's nimbleness, flexibility, and agility was simply understood as a permanent state. Now, decades later, the experience differs but is just as beautiful.

Humans - we are so young. We do not even understand sound. Yet ,we portend to have a grasp on life's meaning. Was I a beautiful child? What is a child? What is beauty? Who deems? Why? What is unimportance? Who says? These questions were a given in youth. Now, answering those questions write a path as life presents its bill for services rendered.

What about the me on this couch, typing, thinking, imagining, creating, do I know? This last of the twenty questions assumes an end to questioning - to delving into the depths of this human called Karen. There is no end. Only change.
