20 Questions #17 How do you reconcile your own mistakes as honest and others as careless?

I don't. This came from years of practice and reflection. One of the benefits of youth is learning. In youth we find many people are late, including ourselves. This opportunity is presented to teach acceptance, not just of the tardy individual, but of our tardiness, our lives, our choices, and the situations we find ourselves. But rarely were any of us aware enough to take advantage of these types of situations, and must less aware of our own contribution to the situation. 

Labeling is the practice of blaming, complaining, and comparing. All three always happen simultaneously. A practice to eliminate labeling is to disregard  when the mind calls someone a name. Reognize the mind's labeling as a distraction and disregard it. If the thought repeats, and it will, repeat disregarding. Continue for the remainder of your time on earth.

Secondly, train the brain to be appreciative and by practicing gratitude. Replace the thought with, "I have all the time in the world." or "Thank you mind for working so diligently in my favor." or "Thank you for this moment free from any requirements or demands."

Third, remember you only have one life.
